Formaci\u00f3n que la <em>Sociedade Galega de Xerontolox\u00eda e Xeriatr\u00eda<\/em> (SGXX) y el <em>Colexio Oficial de Traballo Social de Galicia<\/em> (COTSG) organizan conjuntamente y de forma <strong>pionera<\/strong> en la Comunidad Gallega en dos jornadas. La primera de ellas este <strong>s\u00e1bado 19 de noviembre<\/strong> de <strong>9.00 horas<\/strong> a 18.00 horas en el <strong>Colexio de M\u00e9dicos de Santiago de Compostela<\/strong> (r\u00faa San Pedro de Mezonzo, 39) y la segunda el siguiente s\u00e1bado 26 de noviembre en la misma sede y horario.<\/p>\n<p>El curso, declarado de <strong>Interese Sanitario<\/strong> por la <em>Conseller\u00eda de Sanidade da Xunta de Galicia<\/em>, cuenta con la colaboraci\u00f3n de la <em>Facultade de Ciencias da Educaci\u00f3n de la Universidade de Vigo<\/em>. Consta de <strong>25 horas<\/strong> de formaci\u00f3n oficial (16 presenciales y 9 de trabajo individual y grupal tutorizado) y est\u00e1 <strong>destinado<\/strong> a profesionales del Traballo Social, de Atenci\u00f3n Primaria (Concellos y SERGAS) de la Administraci\u00f3n Municipal y Auton\u00f3mica, de centros sociosanitarios de mayores, residenciales o de d\u00eda; alumnos de las Universidades de Galicia y otras entidades del sector de apoyo y atenci\u00f3n a las personas mayores.<\/p>\n<p>Esta primera edici\u00f3n ha tenido un gran \u00e9xito, complet\u00e1ndose todas las plazas en los primeros d\u00edas que siguieron a su convocatoria.<\/p>\n<p>Y es que \u201cel envejecimiento actual se ha convertido en un fen\u00f3meno nunca antes visto en la historia de la humanidad, en un nuevo paradigma social que a su vez genera nuevas necesidades\u201d. As\u00ed lo subrayan el presidente de la\u00a0SGXX,\u00a0<strong>Miguel \u00c1ngel V\u00e1zquez<\/strong> y la presidenta del\u00a0COTSG,\u00a0<strong>Marta Cape\u00e1ns<\/strong> que defienden que la <strong>Gerontolog\u00eda<\/strong> y el <strong>Trabajo Social<\/strong> son dos herramientas trascendentales, no solo para atender este nuevo fen\u00f3meno y sus caracter\u00edsticas, sino tambi\u00e9n para hacerlo con garant\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed, dichas entidades organizan de forma <strong>pionera<\/strong> en Galicia este curso que se celebra en el <em>Colexio Oficial de M\u00e9dicos en Santiago<\/em> el 19 y el 26 de noviembre como un acuerdo m\u00e1s del convenio firmado por las entidades este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Una convocatoria que \u201ca modo de laboratorio de ideas, tratar\u00e1 de buscar f\u00f3rmulas novedosas para trabajar y atender a las personas mayores y mejorar su calidad de vida\u201d matizan y, sobre todo, asegura Cape\u00e1ns \u201cporque las administraciones no est\u00e1n ofreciendo una respuesta suficiente al fen\u00f3meno del envejecimiento, por eso nos toca a los profesionales buscar nuevos caminos\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>V\u00e1zquez habla a su vez de \u201cnuevos paradigmas\u201d con el fin de \u201cponer en valor al colectivo de mayores\u201d que en Galicia son cerca del <strong>25 por ciento de la poblaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, casi un <strong>cuarto de su poblaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, el <strong>32 por ciento<\/strong> en algunas zonas de la Comunidad, la m\u00e1s envejecida de Espa\u00f1a en la que, sin embargo, enfatiz\u00f3, \u201clos recursos son bastante limitados\u201d. Por ejemplo, record\u00f3, \u201cen toda la Comunidad s\u00f3lo existen dos unidades de Geriatr\u00eda, en Santiago y Vigo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contenido del curso<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En el curso se debatir\u00e1n temas como la <strong>comunicaci\u00f3n<\/strong> y el <strong>trabajo<\/strong> con y para las personas mayores, c\u00f3mo es su realidad cotidiana, los aspectos de este colectivo o el desarrollo y planificaci\u00f3n de programas de envejecimiento activo por parte de administraciones locales y centros de primaria.<\/p>\n<p>Las <strong>particularidades \u00fanicas en el mundo<\/strong> del <strong>envejecimiento gallego<\/strong>; la promoci\u00f3n y la prevenci\u00f3n de la salud en la vejez desde la Atenci\u00f3n Primaria y desde el Trabajo Social; la discriminaci\u00f3n y los estereotipos en la vejez son el resto de temas que se exponen.<\/p>\n<p>Destaca un apartado especial dedicado \u201cal buen trato y las buenas pr\u00e1cticas en la atenci\u00f3n de las personas mayores\u201d como explica la trabajadora social de la SGXX y una de las organizadoras del curso, <strong>Trinidad Vi\u00f1a<\/strong> que subraya que la sociedad, profesionales, medios de comunicaci\u00f3n y tambi\u00e9n las instituciones p\u00fablicas y privadas, deben poner m\u00e1s el foco de atenci\u00f3n \u201cen el buen trato y en las buenas pr\u00e1cticas\u201d ya que, concluy\u00f3, \u201ctrabajando en positivo se olvidan prejuicios y estereotipos\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1is informaci\u00f3n: <a href=\"https:\/\/sgxx.org\/curso-de-traballo-social\/\">https:\/\/sgxx.org\/curso-de-traballo-social\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(Santiago de Compostela, 17 de noviembre de 2016).- Este fin de semana del 19 de diciembre comienza en Santiago de Compostela el curso Traballo Social e Xerontolox\u00eda Sociosanitaria.
