Cada vez vivimos m\u00e1s y llegamos mejor a edades muy altas. Las cifras hablan por s\u00ed solas: es la <strong>primera vez en la historia<\/strong> de la humanidad que el n\u00famero de personas <strong>mayores de 65 a\u00f1os<\/strong> supera al <strong>colectivo de 0 a 14 a\u00f1os<\/strong>. En todo el planeta. En <strong>2050<\/strong> este grupo poblacional superar\u00e1 el <strong>30 por ciento<\/strong>. Unas 15 millones de personas en Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p>Un nuevo fen\u00f3meno que, a su vez, plantea <strong>nuevos retos<\/strong> porque, <strong>envejecer no es un problema<\/strong>, lo puede ser su falta de atenci\u00f3n, planificaci\u00f3n y atenci\u00f3n. Hasta el punto de que, en muchos \u00e1mbitos se percibe la oportunidad de vivir m\u00e1s y mejor como una amenaza, utilizando los t\u00f3picos \u201cproblema del envejecimiento\u201d o \u201ccrisis del sistema\u201d cuando se aborda esta nueva situaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed lo explica la periodista <strong>Agatha de Santos<\/strong> el pasado 27 de marzo en su reportaje \u201cEl envejecimiento como reto\u201d publicado en el diario gallego <strong>Faro de Vigo<\/strong>.
